The mkmed-tar program

mkmed-tar [$SP_ROOT]/package/admin/foo-2.0 [program arg ...]

mkmed-tar creates a tarball of a package version. The package path argument must be a subdirectory of /package or $SP_ROOT/package; the output tarball is created in the current working directory named like foo-2.0.tar. Finally, if any arguments are given after the package path, mkmed-tar runs the given command.
